Trainee Technician - Trailers (HGV)

Siamo Recruitment are delighted to be able to work with a well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead, who are the highest paying company for their field in the area. We are currently recruiting for a Technician for HGV Trailers, skilled and unskilled. The company is family owned and emphasize on work ethic and progression within the company. With many work-do events and friendly environment, they are looking to recruit someone who is highly motivated and wants to progress within the field.

The role is Permanent with 3 months’ probation period. They are looking for someone to join on the NIGHT SHIFT.

Duties will include:-

Routine Trailer Servicing

Trailer Mot Preparation

General Trailer Repairs

Key Skills

Previous mechanical experience desirable – Trailer/Vehicle repairs

Computer Literate

Experience in diagnostics

Fabrication skills desirable

Tall lift experience desirable

MOST IMPORTANT - Willing to learn as training will be given!

Shift time - Night Shift – FULL-TIME ONLY!

Monday – Thursday 6.00pm – 6.00am - 4 Shifts on 12 hour shift – 48 hours

Some flexibility can be given on start/finish times.

Pay rate

Unskilled – £15 ph - £37,000+ per annum

Skilled - £20 ph - £50,000+ per annum
