QA & QC Technician
Full Time - Permanent Position
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Summary
The main role of the QA/QC Technician is to ensure all of the goods that arrive at Bristol are verified against the requirements before they are put into stock and that records of the verification are kept and are easily retrievable. Other duties are controlling the calibration of equipment used in Bristol and assisting in packing and shipping duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure all new or used components & assemblies meet drawing requirements/specifications
· Create and maintain inspection records for all components & assemblies
· Help create Quality procedures/documents where required
· Maintain calibration requirements & records for all calibrated equipment
· Ensure CMM is properly utilized & programmes are available for majority of components
· Composing Defect Reports and Concession requests
· Assist in shipping/receiving items as required
· Perform any other duties as required
Must have:
· Knowledge or experience in engineering environment
· Read & understand engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
· Programme & or operate CMM
· Experienced in the use of mechanical inspection equipment such as Micrometers, Verniers, etc
· Able to communicate both verbally and written
· Working knowledge of office 365 programs inc Excel & Word
· Organised with the ability to handle more than one job at a time
· Can prioritise their workload to complete their goals
· Team player that can work with others
List Preferred qualifications/experience
· Apprenticeship or formal qualifications in engineering discipline
· Experience in programming CMM preferably Aberlink
· Minimum 2 years’ experience with 5 years preferred
· Experience working under requirements of ISO9001

Flexible working (shifts usually start at 7.15 and finish at 4pm) with a Noon finish on Fridays.
