Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join my client’s friendly team as an Accounts Assistant at their site in Measham, Derbyshire.
Must be AAT qualified or have previous accounts experience.
Each day is varied and consist of Data input, raising sales ledger invoices, purchasing data entry & general finance department administration tasks.
This is a Part time Permanent office-based role. 15 - 25 hours per week Hours to be discussed at interview.
Please note this business is not on a bus route so will need to drive due to location.
Job Description
· Deals promptly with incoming and outgoing post.
· Prints off e-mailed invoices and distributes to authorising manager.
· Inputs purchase ledger invoices for the client and files purchase ledger invoices.
· Raises sales ledger invoices, scans, and sends same on a weekly basis.
· Checks and maintains stationery stocks, places order, and ties up delivery notes and invoices for same.
· Scans remittances and sends to suppliers.
· Provides data input support for Purchasing department together with holiday cover in this area.
· Takes phone calls, transferring callers to relevant person.
· General administration and filing duties.
Experience and Skills Required:
· AAT or previous accounts experience advantageous.
· High degree of numeracy
· Good IT skills
· Ability to work accurately – eye for detail.
· Good communication skills & tenacity
