Process Engineer

We are recruiting for our Client in the Automotive sector for their UK site in Coventry. The role is initially for 6 months with the possibility of an extension to nine months.

Tasks

Create and realise LEAN production layouts
Arrange and manage contractors to carry out machine moves
Ensure all documentation is correct, up to date, in the correct format and available in the correct location after moves are made
Other activities to support plant restructure

 
Education

 Degree standard in Mechanical or Plant Engineering and / or full technical apprenticeship to HNC level

 
Professional Experience

 Minimum 3 years experience in layout optimisation

 
Specialised Knowledge and Skills

 Proficient in 2D CAD systems for layouts, (SAP, MTM1 or Standard data certified would be advantageous).

 
Personal Profile

Detail orientated, and must be able to work independently on layouts and with a time.
Ability to manage contractors on site to ensure smooth machine relocation, which will include weekends.
