Our client, a leader in the training and apprenticeships market are growing. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student dedicated Learning Support Officer to join their apprenticeship division at their head office in Kemble.

 

This Learning Support Officer role is a rare opportunity to become the face of the business, Having reports with client, apprentice and stakeholders all working towards one goal; Ensuring apprentices are enrolled, inducted, and hit the targets set.

What is the package?

 

  • Starting Salary: £30,000
  • Hours and working schedule: Mon-Fri – 08:30 – 16:00
  • Onsite Parking
  • Autonomous role where you will be integral to the company growth

This Learning Support Officer will have the below responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee and control student enrolment days
  • Oversee and control the apprenticeship induction programme
  • Building rapport with learners
  • Collect, collate, analyse/check all enrolment data and assist with due diligence
  • Act as deputy Safeguarding Designated Person
  • Control end of module feedback, self-assessment feedback and reflective journal review/recording
  • Support learner access to all necessary IT systems
  • Plan, book and review all enrichment activities
  • Conduct batch testing (e.g. LSI, BKSB/Hodder etc.)
  • Interview learners regarding failed exams, plan recovery and remedial instruction, record training outcomes (TOs) agreed with learner, brief Training Manager, or Instructor
  • Provide support and planning for Apprentice Graduation Ceremony
  • Prepare data for learner progress reviews (LPRs), assist assessors & Internal Quality Assessor (IQA) with mini and full LPRs
  • Provide Individual Learner Report (ILR) batch data for stakeholders
  • Collect & collate post programme data for tracking
  • Assist for End Point Assessment preparation

 

 

The ideal candidate for this Learning Support Officer will have the below:

 

  • Previous experience working with learners over the age of 16+
  • Experienced with student enrolment processes
  • Qualified in safeguarding / PREVENT
  • Previous learner of staff support is essential
  • Previous experience reporting to education boards is advantageous
  • A naturally confident communicator with the ability to adjust to all levels
  • A keen passion to develop others
  • Full UK Driving License
