Process Engineer - (Automotive ) - Coventry - 30.00 per hour - min 6 month contract

We are recruiting for our Client in the Automotive sector for their UK site in Coventry. The role is initially for 6 months with the possibility of an extension to nine months.

Tasks

• Create and realise LEAN production layouts
• Arrange and manage contractors to carry out machine moves
• Ensure all documentation is correct, up to date, in the correct format and available in the correct location after moves are made
• Other activities to support plant restructure

Education

•  Degree standard in Mechanical or Plant Engineering and / or full technical apprenticeship to HNC level

Professional Experience

•  Minimum 3 years experience in layout optimisation

Specialised Knowledge and Skills

•  Proficient in 2D CAD systems for layouts, (SAP, MTM1 or Standard data certified would be advantageous).

Personal Profile

• Detail orientated, and must be able to work independently on layouts and with a time.
• Ability to manage contractors on site to ensure smooth machine relocation, which will include weekends.
