Forklift Operator (Counterbalance and Reach)

We here at Siamo Recruitment have an exciting opportunity partnering with a leading employer in Cricklade looking to onboard Warehouse Operatives to their growing and passionate teams.

Working sociable hours 07:00am - 15:00pm,  this opportunity will initially be temporary however, can lead to a permanent role for the ideal candidate.

Based in a remote location in Cricklade, the candidate will require a Full UK Driving License and previous Warehouse exposure along with a valid forklift license (Counterbalance and Reach).

 This Warehouse Operative role will have the following responsibilities: 

• Operating a Reach and Counterbalance truck
• Picking and moving pallets within multiple warehouses
• Loading and Unloading of deliveries
• Completing stock control checks
• Highlighting any damaged boxes where appropriate for H&S
• Experience using picking sheets and scanners
• Working to set deadlines
• Working as a team to achieve goals and supporting warehouse management on selected tasks
• General warehouse cleansing to ensure a clean workspace

 The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Operative vacancy will have:

• Previous warehouse exposure in a fast paced environment
• Forklift license is essential (Counterbalance and Reach)
• Full UK Driving License due to rural location
• Minimum 3 years recent experience as Forklift Driver
• Effective communicator
• Enjoys working as part of a team all working towards one goal as well as individually
