WAREHOUSE FOOD PICKERS (Pre-Packaged Meats)

Must be able to handle all types of meat products

IMMEDIATE START

FULL TIME (40 hour work week)

This role is not suitable for persons who cannot legally work 40 hours per week

Siamo Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for Warehouse Associates with immediate starts for our partner based in Greenford (UB6). Our client is one of the largest retailers on the market offering great working conditions and career development opportunities

Shifts:
11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Must be able to work any 5 of 7 days

Rate:

£12.90/hr

Role & Responsibilities:
Pick customers food shopping orders accurately, safely and according to targets
Load and unload vehicles on schedule accurately recording appropriate details
Work across all temperature (ambient and chilled environments)
Complete basic documentation accurately
Carry out general cleaning duties within the warehouse
Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to
Previous experience would be advantageous but is not required
Must be able to handle meats and alcoholic beverages
The role is hands on and requires manual handling and heavy lifting. You will be working in the chilled section (0 to +5 Degrees)

Understands the basics and importance of Health and Safety procedures
Able to lift and handle goods including meat and alcohol
Have a basic degree of literacy
Can take the initiative and use common sense
A background in warehouse, retail or hospitality is ideal

All applicants will be required to have or be willing to undertake Food Safety Level 1 training and Manual Handling training prior to your start date
