Team Leaders/ Supervisors

Job description

Siamo is currently looking for an experienced Team/Show leader to join a joining industry-leading business in Arley. Within this role, you will help supervise staff for the delivery and breakdown of shows and exhibitions.

Pay Rate

Basic - £13.25ph

OT 1 - £14.50ph

OT2 - £15.50ph

Day shifts (Including weekends)

8am until 6pm / 4pm until 10pm 

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff – including morning and evening briefings to staff
• Supervise the unloading, storage, delivery, collection and reloading of all vehicles during shows
• Promote high standards of housekeeping, ensuring a clean & safe working environment
• Ensure all show site staff have correct PPE on at all times
• Liaise with contractors and customers throughout the build-up/breakdown of shows, managing expectations and identifying potential issues and remedies
• Coordinate with transport for delivery and collection
• Actively manage and control labor costs on the show site within the budget parameters set out
• Work seamlessly with the warehouse team
• Identify training opportunities and work improvements
• Occasionally work away from home while delivering to a variety of venues around the UK & Europe
• Complete show reports in a timely manner capturing all issues raised
• Report directly to Operations management
• Operate in accordance with Company Policy, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Requirements

• 2 years experience supervising teams
• Full UK driving license
• Experience working in a warehouse/distribution setting
• Experience in exhibitions and events would be an advantage
• FLT license would be an advantage but not essential
• Prepared to work overtime during busy periods, inclusive of weekends and occasional nights away from home
• Confident speaking to internal & external stakeholders
