Technical Sales Account Manager

We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturer looking to recruit a Technical Sales Account Manager to their growing and successful sales team. The role will require negotiation, account management, quoting and engaging new and lapsed customers.

Within our client the Technical Sales Account Manager will obtain a large amount of existing and loyal customer base looking to continue strong relationships and develop further requirements through targeted sales.

This Technical Sales Account Manager role will provide the below package:

• Base salary of £30,000 - £35,000
• Monday – Friday with an early finish Friday
• 25 days + b hols annual leave allowance
• Pension Scheme

This Technical Sales Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Effectively pitching new products to the existing customer base
• Identifying new developments and trends within the market
• Negotiating renewals with existing customer base
• Launching new products and sales campaigns
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute new sales strategies and campaigns
• Follow the customer process from initial enquiry through to delivery
• Continuously working to revenue targets

The ideal candidate for this Technical Sales Account Manager will require:

• Previous sales experience within manufacturing, fabrication or engineering
• Previous experience working with product drawings through AutoCAD
• Confident communicator with the ability to effectively negotiate
• Ability to converse technically with customers
• Previous experience managing customer accounts and providing a high level service
