Production Operative

Siamo are looking for a keen Production Line Operatives to join a well-established company based in South Cerney. As a Production Operative your role will be to manufacture roofing tiles on the production line, pick and pack distributor orders and regular stock rotation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company on a full-time basis. The shifts are Monday – Friday 06:00am – 14:00pm and 14:00pm – 22:00pm on a weekly rotation.

Full training will be given. Temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

A brief overview of the role:

• Location - South Cerney
• Earlies and Afternoon Shift on rotation (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm)
• £11.37 per hour
• Monday – Friday
• Free onsite parking
• Lunch facilities

Your role as a Production Line Operative will involve the following duties:

• Quality checking all goods prior to dispatch
• Liaising with supervisors if there are any faults
• Running safety checks on machinery
• Machine operating safety and efficiently
• Preparing products for despatch - making boxes / packaging / labelling
• Loading pallets for delivery
• Working on the assembly line
• Some degree of heavy lifting will be required
• General warehouse housekeeping duties

The ideal candidate for the Production Line Operative position will have:

• Production line experience is extremely essential
• Full UK Driving License
• Quality control experience
• Good communication skills
• Good team worker
• Good attention to detail
• Keen eye for detail
