We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join an established and innovative engineering and surveying consultancy.

This role is primarily based at the leicester Office but offers some hybrid working and requires some travel.

This role is to undertake structural design on a wide variety of civil and structural engineering projects. This includes working in the commercial, residential, industrial and educational industries working on projects up to £40 million in value.

Salary:  £33,000 - £40,000 per Annum Dependent on Experience

Essential Requirements:

• Hold a relevant civil engineering qualification.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience.
• Experience of design of below ground foul and surface water drainage systems.
• Must he ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
• Have the ability to oversee technical work being undertaken by graduates and assist in their training.
• Competent in producing AutoCad drawings.
• Able to communicate effectively with local authorities and lead local flood authorities.
• High standards of report writing skills
• In-depth knowledge of SuDs and flood risk assessments.
• Be familiar with the MicroDrainage software package.
• Ideally have knowledge of 3D civil design software.
• Hold a full driving license and have own vehicle.
