We are currently looking for a Vehicle Control Room Coordinator to join one of our most sort after clients based in Cranfield and world wide leading Automotive companies.

The main duties of the role include the below but are not limited to -

Provide counter service within the Control Room to include:

  • Use of vehicle management system for 500+ vehicles
  • Issue of keys/equipment/Workshop Consumables
  • Accurate record keeping of vehicle documentation
  • Support with the co-ordination of vehicle bodies
  • Co-ordinate the loading/un-loading of vehicles on-site
  • Issue reminders for overdue items and follow-up until returned
  • Support with audit of test fleet to include visual inspections
  • General administration duties for the Test team

To be considered for this role  -

  • Ideally a strong background in vehicle management or a desire to train and own this area of NTCE business
  • Experience/knowledge of a busy workshop/office environment
  • 3+ years work experience
  • Ideally educated to a good GCSE level with grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • FLT and/or trailer experience useful but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail/accurate record keeping
  • Demonstrate that vehicles and equipment are being managed in accordance with the section processes and KPI’s
  • Ensure a strong relationship with service providers is maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times to support projects
