Siamo are looking for an Experienced Quality Engineer.

Our Client is an advanced manufacturing company based in Moulton Park Northampton. They specialise in CNC machining plastic components, light weight foams & composite patterns and moulds. The industries they supply to are Formula 1, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive & Oil and Gas.

As the company has grown into Aerospace and Formula one Industries, they have seen an increase in demands for high tolerance inspection to satisfy customer requirements. This has led to the incremental purchase of 2 Hexagon Romer arm 3D scanners & a programmable CMM machine. They are now looking for an experienced quality engineer to work with cell leaders to help drive the Quality management system.

What you can expect as Quality Engineer:

£30,000 - £36,000
Hours of work 38.5 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 07.45 am to 16.15 pm
Friday 07.45 am to 14.45 pm

As a Quality Engineer you will be expected to:

Use of both CMM & 3D scanners
Use of Polyworks Inspection software
Checking components to engineer's drawing's
Feeding back information to Machine shop cell leaders
Communicating & reporting to customers

The ideal attribute's of a Quality Engineer:

Prior experience working in an Aerospace or Formula one environment
A good understanding of engineering drawings & tolerancing
Good Attention to detail
Good Organisational skills
Confidence liaising with customer Quality Departments
Prior experience working with 3D scanners & CMM machines
