Siamo group are looking for Lasting Room Operatives.

Our Client is a Northampton based company with a long history in the Orthopaedic industry with a long standing relationship with the NHS, and due to a growth in business, are now looking to increase their team of highly skilled professionals in their Lasting Room. This is perfect for somebody with or with-out experience as the client is willing to train and upskill.


What can you expect as a Lasting Room Operative:

  • £10.00 - £11.00 P/H.
  • Monday - Thursday 07:45 am - 16:30 pm.
  • Friday 07:45 am - 15:15pm.
  • 33 days Holiday. 
  • NN4 Location.

(The hours and holiday are correct and not a typo even though they may be hard to believe). 


Main Duties of the Lasting Room Operative:

(Remember training will be provided - so don't be shy)

  • Back Part Molding.
  • Toe & Side Lasting.
  • Bagging.
  • Inseam and Upper Trimming.
  • Welt sewing.

Key Requirements for this role of a Lasting Room Operative:

  • Amazing hand to eye coordination.
  • Ability to use a diversity of machines. 
  • A keen eye for details.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable using own initiative.
