Siamo Recruitment are currently working with an established, longstanding organisation within the educational industry, based in Cirencester, who are looking to onboard a skilled HR Assistant that will join them in their fast paced, family feeling team.

 

The ideal candidate for this HR position will come from a solid HR background, that had hands on knowledge around disciplinaries, legislations, payroll, and administration.

Your duties as a HR Assistant 

· Full administrative support, including all aspects of the employee lifecycle

· Ensuring the accurate preparation of contracts of employment, contract variations and correspondence relating to payroll

· Managing human resources projects in an accurate and timely fashion

· Assisting with the development and implementation of a new human resources system

· Maintaining confidentiality and an understanding of GDPR requirements

· A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail

· Good IT skills including Microsoft office

· Excellent communication skills and the ability maintain excellent employee relations

· The ability to work within the policies and procedures with particular regard for health and safety, equal opportunities and the overriding need to safeguard children and vulnerable adults in our care.

 

 

The ideal individual of this HR Assistant role

· Human resources qualification - minimum CIPD Level 3 or working towards Level 5

· Very high degree of accuracy, consistent attention to detail, and excellent numeric skills are essential

· Human resources admin experience definitely preferred but not essential.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Confident and positive approach, with the ability to prioritise work effectively.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work flexibly with all colleagues as part of a team with a willingness to learn.

· Knowledge around the importance of strict confidentiality of human resources data, personal information, Single Central Database, and other sensitive data.

· Able to effectively manage your time spent with staff, in relation to getting the job done
