Siamo are looking for experienced Senior HR Advisors. 

We at Siamo are really proud to be representing a national company that due to growth are now looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor.

This role will on occasion have management responsibility. The incumbent will maintain the respected reputation of the function across the wider business and, where appropriate, support the learning and development of direct reports. Taking a business partnered approach, they with take the lead in delivering the company’s strategy with initiatives to revamp the culture of the organisation at all levels without compromising the experience of its employees. Provide consistent and dependable advice and guidance on a range of complex employee related matters. Manage recruitment, leading on our People Compliance frameworks ensuring this remains legally compliant. 

 

About: 

  • £40000 - £45000 Per Annum. 
  • Bonus Profit Share Scheme. 
  • NN17 Location. 
  • 37.5 Hour Per Week, Flexible (business hours are 8:30 am - 17:00 PM). 
  • Opportunity to eventually go partly remote. 

Key Areas Of Responsibilities: 

  • Advice and Guidance
  • Providing advice, support and guidance to the management team and employees
  • Being instrumental in the Development and reviewing process, whilst also evaluating the HR policies to maintain awareness of current employment legislation, ensuring all procedures are in line with union agreements
  • Continual process review and improvement of the HR function and its processes, Support and manage the work of direct reports

 

  • Employee Relations:
  • Participating with staff disciplinary/grievance meetings, providing guidance, and ensuring a consistent approach with all management
  • Monitor lateness and absence, investigate trends and produce statistics liaising with the Occupational Health Nurse
  • Assist management with employee relations and undertake negotiation with staff representative

 

  • Recruitment 
  • Coordinate and assist in the recruitment process with management and the Group Recruitment Manager, creating job descriptions as and when required
  • Ensuring management carry out probationary reviews and provide management with current evaluations

 

  • Administration/ Record management/ Staff benefit 
  • Formulate and type correspondence, reports, minutes, emails, and working towards deadlines
  • Co-ordinate Induction programmes and retirements

Other Duties: 

  • Partner with business leaders to provide advice and support on all people matters
  • Manage complex ER case load across the business 
  • Overall responsibility for the absence, attendance, and management process
  • identifying and investigating trends
  • Support the Head office when changing management projects
  • Play a key role in the trade union relationships, enabling effective negotiations
  • Oversee the recruitment process
  • Develop, review, and analyse policies and procedures
  • GDPR lead for the business ensuring compliance
  • Support site audit activities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5
  • Relevant proven experience with implementing and rolling out new policies and procedures. 
  • Full and Clean UK Licence with own vehicle
