We here at Siamo Recruitment are partnering with a leader in luxury Property Management and due to growth are in the market for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them and support their Management Accountant and accountancy department.


The successful candidate will be joining a fun and family feel environment slotting in with the existing finance department, each of their clients requirements are different providing variety on a range of accounts proving both interesting and rewarding.


The vacancy requires the ideal candidate to have strong Bookkeeping exposure and competent when pulling financial reports through excel.


Our client has two locations in The Cotswold’s and Central London where travel will be required weekly to attend the Head Office in London, not to worry this is all expenses paid!


What’s the package?  


  • £25,000 – £30,000 Starting salary DOE
  • Pension Scheme
  • Monday – Friday 37.5 hour working week
  • Fully expensed travel cover

This Accounts Assistant vacancy will have the following responsibilities:


  • Assisting with the delivery of bespoke household accounting services to their clients, processing supplier invoices and staff expenses and preparation for payment runs
  • Setting up and processing of online payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Completion of transaction analysis
  • Preparing monthly payroll journals
  • Working with the management accountant preparing year end accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • General response to clients regarding financial information and requests



The ideal candidate for this Accounts Assistant vacancy will have the following qualifications, exposure and characteristics:


  • Professional demeanor with exposure working with clients externally
  • Naturally analytically minded
  • Previous exposure working in a small firm all with the mindset to succeed
  • Flexibility to regularly commute to London to meet with the extended accounting department
  • Proven Bookkeeping exposure with a minimum of 5 years
  • Experienced in running financial report through Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS and Presentations)
