Job Opportunity

Siamo Group are actively seeking Order Pickers to work on behalf of our client who are the UK’s leading and most recognised multi-channel retailers in the UK. Our client is based in Barton Under Needwood DE13

As a Warehouse Order Picker you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of exceptional service. (Please note that you will be required to complete other duties within the warehouse as and when instructed.) 

 Hours of work and pay:  

Shifts  (Rotating Weekly Shifts) –06:50-14:50/14:50-22:50  5/7 rota pattern
Pay -£11.38 per hour-£14.23 per hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading large items
• Order Picking large items
• Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements
• Ensures that orders are accurate
• Stages items correctly for delivery
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Plans and monitors product storage and dispatch
• Oversees stock replenishment
• Monitors stock control systems and processes specific orders
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.
• Display positive personal attributes by being able to work off own initiative and as part of a team.   
• Attention to detail and accuracy are key to the smooth running of the entire operation and so you must have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.   
• A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from team leaders and management.   

Qualifications

• Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Preferred
• Keen Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects
• Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to Work in a Fast Paced, Busy Environment
• Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at Times
