The company is a thriving charity who is delighted to be recruiting for a Building Manager for their office in Luton.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Building Manager to take responsibilities for developing, delivering, and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency including physical infrastructure and support services in their 65,000sqft building, that provides space for voluntary, community, statutory and small to medium enterprises.
The building Manager is responsible for delivering a wide range of services including planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance and health and safety compliance across the site.
Required Education & Experience
- An appropriate qualification within the property, estates, buildings management sector or construction industry, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent experience
- Membership of professional body – (RICS/IWFM or similar)
- A thorough knowledge of property related statutory compliance legislation
- Strong IT skills, experience in introducing new systems and procedure
Required Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication skills and negotiating skills, with proven ability to work toward stringent deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and delivering pragmatic solutions
Excellent time management
Support health and safety training initiatives
Excellent observation skills to be able to pay attention to detail.
