Siamo Group are pleased to be working alongside a rapidly growing construction and civil engineering organisation, who are looking to onboard a Reconciliations Assistant at their head office in South Cerney for an initial 6-week project to reconcile several years of supplier accounts.

Our client is looking for a highly organised, and analytical individual with an exposure in accounting and strong administration skills. The successful candidate for this Reconciliations Assistant post will have experience dealing with disputes and financial queries, as well as an ability to solve problems and manipulate data effectively.

The position would suit someone with financial experience within the construction sector (preferable). This position will be initially temporary for 6-weeks abut has the chance to go permanent for the right individual.

The Hours/Pay:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9:00am - 17:00pm
  • £25 per hour
  • South Cerney, Gloucestershire

The duties to be undertaken for this Reconciliations Assistant post:

  • Ensure key supplier account reconciliations are carried out accurately and regularly
  • Data mine all timesheets and emails relating to the client project to produce an easily digestible report
  • Liaise internally with other departments to resolve queries for information sharing with suppliers
  • Assist with delivery and maintenance of supplier statement Reconciliations, linking to the overall department objectives
  • Escalating and reporting exceptions and breaches where appropriate
  • Supporting with ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate for this Reconciliations Assistant post:

  • Strong financial background within reconciliation
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data
  • Strong knowledge of MS office in. Excel
  • Previous exposure to accounts packages inc. Sage/Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
