A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client due to growth and expansion, at their Ashby office.  

 I am seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.  

 The role will involve lone working and some travelling to meet potential clients.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 09.00am – 17.00pm and would suit someone with a strong work ethic and who is money motivated as there is potential to earn £15k+ in commission.


Job Role


  • To promote new and existing product ranges to existing and potential customers, to include arranging product samples and carrying out product trials at customer site locations as required
  • To act as an Account Manager for existing export customers, resolving any customer queries in a timely manner
  • To drive strategies to increase revenue of export customers
  • To maintain and accurately update information on the company CRM system
  • To provide specific product knowledge and assistance as required
  • To advise on, arrange and trial product samples
  • To carry out pricing, costing, and quoting for products as required
  • To work with external suppliers to ensure that customer’s product requirements are met and exceeded where possible
  • To monitor the sales value of Export customers and highlight any changes in trends to the Managing Director
  • To provide a weekly report on current and future sales and any products or sales concerns for export customers to The Group Managing Director
  • To work with the Marketing Department to ensure that customers and distributors have access to all required marketing resources available


 Candidate Requirements


  • Previous experience in Export sales (3 years Preferred)
  • Happy to travel away for business every now and again
  • Happy to work by yourself
  • Experience of using Microsoft office packages such as work and excel
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Be able to use own initiative
