We are recruiting a Transport Administrator for our client based in Coalville.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of dealing national and international freight to provide top class support to a busy and prestigious organisation.

This role is varied including liaising with UK and international customers this role will involve confirming bookings, reporting damages, ensuring compliance standards within the UK Network, communicate between regional management and compliance teams as well international road, air, and sea freight organisations.

You will be dealing with customs clearance management and providing and supplying information for daily UK Network handover reports.

Working Monday to Friday 08.00am – 16.30pm you will provide efficient and effective support ensuring accurate information and updates and effective communications on all levels.


The role involves the following:

  • Reporting any damages, problems, and general traffic occurrences
  • Confirming UK Bookings and arranging transport with approved sub-contractors
  • Enforcing quality and compliance standard within the UK Network
  • Organising held over freight
  • Liaising with internal management and compliance teams
  • Ensuring accurate information is supplied with regards to International Freight customers
  • Liaising with overseas correspondents
  • Customs Clearance Management
  • Providing accurate information daily for handover reports.


The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Experience of freight / logistics both UK and over seas is extremely advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both nationally and internationally and at all levels
  • Understanding of importance of compliance
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Able to accurately input data and produce reports
  • Must be performance driven
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills
