Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to join our client based in the picturesque location of South Cerney lakes, who are looking to onboard an Finance Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in purchase/sales ledgers and cash control using Sage 50, as well as exceptional organisational / IT skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Salary: £22,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (negotiable for the right candidate)
  • Location: South Cerney

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger
    • Receiving supplier invoices via email / post and filing
    • Entering supplier invoices onto the accounting system
    • Reconciling the supplier ledger to supplier statements
    • Chasing missing supplier invoices
    • Resolving any problems/disputes
  • Sales Ledger
    • Entering sales invoices onto the accounting system
    • Emailing / posting invoices out to customers
    • Handling customer queries and liaising with the relevant departments to resolve
    • Credit control – chasing overdue payments
  • Cash Control
    • Entering bank payments / receipts onto Sage 50
    • Bank Reconciliations
  • General Ad Hoc Duties

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a finance / account’s role
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Package
  • Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communicator
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is desirable though not essential
