**IMMEDIATE STARTS AND INDUCTIONS - **Warehouse Operative **

An opportunity has arisen to join one of our prestigious clients who are a global manufacturer and worldwide technology leader in the media and entertainment sector, who are at the forefront of digital innovation of consumer-packaged media products.

Our client is based in Swift Valley Industrial Estate in Rugby, CV21 Close to Long Lawford, Stanford On Avon, Newton, Bilton, Harborough Magna, Clifton Upon Dunsmore ,Hill Morton  and many more.

As a Warehouse Operative you will put the stock away onto shelving, some previous use of hand scanners is useful but full training is given.

It is a manual role on your feet most of the day, Pushing and pulling of a trolley will be required for most of the shift with some lifting of books, batteries & DVD’s. 

Hours of Work & Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday 
• Rotating Shifts
• 06.30 - 14.30pm /15.00pm - 23.00pm 
• £9.99 -£11.50 per hour

Overtime Available at generous rates!!!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing of pick ticket orders
• Pulling warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, colour, quantity, and quality requirements
• Ensuring orders are accurate
• Staging of items correctly for delivery
• Operating of handling equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed
• Planning and monitoring or product storage and dispatch
• Overseeing of stock replenishment
• Monitoring of or stock control systems and processes for specific orders
• Ensuring warehouse goals are met
• Maintaining a high level of health and safety standards
• Operating scanner so that proper orders are picked, and inventory is managed accurately
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Always displaying positive attributes by being able to work off own initiative and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy to be ensured as they are a key to the smooth running of the entire operation and so you must have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from Team Leaders and Management

Candidate Requirements

• Must have experience Voice Picking
• Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred
• Experience working with an RF scanner essential
• Keen attention to detail, ability to lift heavy objects
• Able to use technology, Wrist watch scanner and headset
• Physically fit as expected to walk up and down the aisles, most of the shift
• Pushing and pulling of a trolley will be required for most of the shift
• Must NOT be afraid of heights
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Ability to work well in a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
