We have an exciting opportunity for someone to work for our prestigious client based in Ashby De La Zouch

The role is that of Pre-Contract Administrator and is to support the Pre-Contracts Manager with identifying and quantifying potential sub-contract work as well as obtaining the opportunity to bid for new contracts.

This role is interesting and varied and will involve ensuring compliant bid documentation and carrying out of comparisons on like for like documents and compiling projects and drawing packs to be sent to clients for approval.

This position is integral in company’s growth within the supply chain.


Role Duties:

  • Identifying & quantifying subcontract work packages
  • Obtaining competitive bids for subcontract bid packages
  • Checking bid and ensuring compliance and comparing bids
  • Supporting in broadening the company’s supply chain
  • Compiling projects and drawing for client approval


Required/Desired Skills:

  • Excellent level of IT proficiency including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to be methodical and able to prioritize workloads effectively
  • A drive to lower costs with a good eye for economically priced goods while maintaining quality
  • Attention to detail ensuring quality and compliant documentation
  • Understanding of budgets
  • Possess an general understanding of basic construction with respect to joinery and site trades


  • Company pension scheme after 3 months
  • Business mileage at 45p
  • 10% bonus if company meets targets
  • Hours are fairly typical but flexible. 
  • No fixed start time, between the hours of 8 - 6
  • Hybrid working is encouraged.
