Machine Operator - DAYS **IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE**

Machine Operator’s Required in Leicester, LE4!

We have exciting, ongoing opportunities for Machine Operators to work with a global manufacturer at their site in Leicester, LE4.

The role involves operating various machinery (Full Training is provided) to manufacture their products to a high standard.

You will be using measuring gauges such as micrometres and other measuring equipment.

There will be the requirement to read engineering drawings to ensure accurate production within timescales to ensure production targets are met.

All work must be carried out in a clean and safe working environment in line with the companies’ policies and procedures.

Hours of Work

Rotating Shift Pattern:

Week 1:  Monday to Thursday 05.30am – 14.00pm   Friday 05.30am – 13.30pm

Week 2:  Monday to Thursday 14.00pm – 22.30pm   

Rate of Pay

£12.80 Per Hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating Machinery in a safe manner
• Use of measuring equipment such as micrometre, vernier and other measuring gauges
• Quality checking throughout the manufacturing process
• Working to production targets
• Reading engineering drawings
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar setting – Manufacturing or Production – Desirable but not Essential
• Experience of using measuring equipment – Desirable but not Essential
• Ability to lift up to 15kg
• Have strong communication skills – Written and verbal
