We have a fantastic opportunity for a Store manager to join one of our clients well established store based in Dunstable on a permanent basis.

Our clients are a friendly team who thrive on providing exceptional customer service, whilst selling the right solution to the customers.


Hours: 40 hours a week – Any 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis


Our clients are looking for a store manager who will oversee the Dunstable branch. You will be coaching and supporting the team, leading them by example. You will need to lead the team by driving the team’s performance and being focused on maximising sales.

You’ll be well supported in your role and whilst your store will be your own to take charge and be proud of, you will have the support of your Regional Manager and a Head Office team for guidance.



Key Role responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating the store team through coaching and providing constructive feedback in order to enhance performance.
  • Following up on enquiries and advising customers on the best solution for their needs, including selling merchandise and insurance to drive your store’s performance (P&L) and achieve related KPIs.
  • Creating a culture of exceptional customer service that exceeds our customer’s expectations.
  • Customer’s first impressions are key, you will be at the forefront of setting the store and operational standards and ensuring that they are maintained.
  • Liaising with other managers
  • Making sure the store is maintained to a high standard
  • Maintain professional working relationship with all customers and colleagues


Experience, skills attributes

  • You will have a retail background in a customer facing environment and experience in consultative sales
  • Already having a great track record as a Store Manager who delivers results through excellent leadership and coaching.
  • You’ll need to be a strong communicator, approachable and be able to balance a varied workload with a ‘hands on’ way of working.
  • You’ll need to have strong commercial acumen and will embrace change as you lead your team through the fast-moving industry on a daily basis.
  • Excellent management skills
