We are currently recruiting Quality Assurance Inspector's

Become a Key Worker working within a food packing environment for an award winning client of Siamo.

Working any 5 days out of 7days,  either 6.00 – 14:30 or 13:30– 22.00 shift pattern – flexibility is preferred

Scope
To identify that all produce entering premises meets the requires specification and effectively communicate LOT status.
To ensure that all products that are leaving meet customer specification.
Comply with all procedures and systems, meeting all legal and customer requirements.
Pack house Positive Release Duties
Conduct positive release checks for all produce per order to ensure product meets specification.
Book waste accurately into the waste system.
Warehouse/Audit Duties: Complete appropriate checks on picked product that does not enter the Pack house. This can include but is not limited to discounter lines, products from Top Barn Produce and catering customers.

Check finished good pallets, identify those ready for dispatch, and ensure they are moved appropriately.

Respond to any rejections informing technical/commercial of the quality noted for the next order and follow through any actions.

Book waste accurately into the waste system. 

Admin Duties

Complete shelf life daily according to procedure and inform technical of any major issues with quality.

Carry out customer specific shelf life procedures and record data accordingly.

Collect samples from the Packhouse and chase up missing samples with production managers 

Personal Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be well-organised and a proactive team player, who will have excellent attention to detail and will enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to liaise with other departments professionally at all times.

Have the confidence to challenge people and stop products with issues entering/leaving the building, and work with other departments to expedite corrective action.
