Finance Manager

We here at Siamo Recruitment are representing a marketing leading client passionate on investing in their staff currently in the market for a driven and confident Finance Manager to join their growing finance department to lead and be responsible for the financial health of our client.


Our client is requesting the ideal candidate to have an in-depth understanding of business principles, be a natural problem solver via analytical thinking and thrive autonomously.


You’ll become a valuable member off our client by producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research to inform the decision making on senior executives. Along with this, you’ll be responsible for the finance team to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently.



This Finance Manager will have the following responsibilities:


  • You will manage the day-to-day financial operations within the company including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Guide and support the finance team of 6 people, including financial assistants and part qualified accountants.
  • Contract and liaise with external services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
  • Track the financial status and performance of the company to identify and promote areas for potential improvement. Confidently purchase currency for the company for suppliers.
  • Research and be aware of methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Analyse and review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports to present to the Directors, executives and clients.
  • Prepare budget reports for approval.
  • Provide insightful information and guidance to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Staying up to date with technological advances, new trends and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.


The ideal candidate will have the following exposure and qualifications:


  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualifications (3-5 years PQE)
  • Several years of proven previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in preparing and analysing management information using Excel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data privacy standards and FX derivatives.
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, public speaking skills.
  • Finance Software knowledge
  • Experience in Payroll
