Job Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator has arisen to join one of our global clients, who are one of the largest delivery and logistic companies in the world. Our client is based in Rugby, Swift Valley industrial estate, in a completely refurbished Warehouse. As a Logistics Administrator with will be working within the Warehouse and you will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of exceptional service.

Hours of work and pay: 

Monday to Friday: 1300-2100 (Salary - £19069pa)
Monday to Friday 2100-0500 (Salary - £23200pa)
Friday to Tuesday 1300-2100 (Salary - £19069pa)
Friday to Tuesday 2100-0500 (Salary - £23200pa)

 

The role involves:
This role will be based within the Warehouse -

  • Organise, plan, manage and prioritise workload to suit operational requirements.
  • To ensure all customer service level agreements are adhered to.
  • To ensure customer requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Liase with internal and external vendors to ensure goods are collected on time to enable efficient delivery.
  • Monitoring productivity volumes going through the facility.
  • Supporting Team Leaders to ensure productivity is on target.
  • To ensure that daily checklists and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • To maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse administration area at all times.
  • To cover the workload of colleagues within the department during periods of absence or peak workloads.
  • To undertake any other duties as required by managements that will improve quality of customer service within the company in accordance with grade and nature of the post.

 

Candidate requirements:  

  • MUST have previous Logistics/Warehouse administration experience.
  • Previous Customer Service experience would be beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication would be required.
  • Previous experience monitoring productivity/volumes.
  • Confident on in house systems.
  • Competent on Excel and Microsoft word
  • Understanding of Transport Operations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are key to the smooth running of the entire operation and so you must have the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. 
  • A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from team leaders and management.
