As Supervisor, you will lead a team of Production Technicians, co-ordinating the team’s day-to-day cleaning and material transfer activities in conjunction with team leaders, in order to maintain process continuity and achieve the production schedule whilst maintaining GMP, safety and environmental compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the performance of a team of Production Technicians. Role includes facility cleaning, material transfer, stock management, mi nor processing steps, use of small equipment, environmental monitoring, aseptic qualification and waste removal (not an exhaustive list).
  • Co-ordinate cleaning and material transfer activities and requirements from other departments, in order to achieve the production schedule
  • Perform and ensure that all work within the manufacturing facility is carried out in compliance with the facilities SHE and GMP procedures.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for facility SOP's.
  • Coordinate the stock maintenance system.
  • Potential for shift work and effective team hand-overs

 Education, Skills & Experience

  • Educated to A-Level, and/or previous similar experience, preferably within a GMP environment.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to develop within a growing regulated industry.
  • Experience working in compliance with SHE and GMP procedures.
  • Previous people supervisory skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, being able to plan and complete work to schedule
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of MS Office applications.
