About the role:
Supporting a young man with complex clinical needs, escorting him to College in the morning and escorting him home from College to support him in his home environment Monday to Friday. Transport is provided.
The young man has a tracheostomy and a PEG. He is permanently on a ventilator and requires suction. He lives with his mum and dad and younger siblings. He has learning disabilities therefore experience of working with people with learning disabilities would be an advantage but mostly we are looking to recruit an individual who will enable our client to live his life to the fullest.
The role requires someone with excellent communication skills and someone who is able to maintain and promote safety in his own environment.
Applicants must have experience in tracheostomy care and epilepsy.
Non smokers are essential for this position.
Full training will be provided to meet the client's needs.
Hours –7am to 10am and 2pm to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate - £14.00 per hour
