We have a need for an experienced Operations / Sales Manager. We have a unique opportunity for the right individual to manage and lead our exciting new Outsourcing Company with offices in Newcastle and the Midlands.

We MUST find a highly talented individual who is inspirational, manipulative and has the drive to achieve high performance sales.

The Operations / Sales Manager's job requires that tangible and measurable results are to be obtained despite opposition or resistance to their accomplishment. There may be pressure to meet deadlines in an environment laced with a wide variety of problems and unexpected interruptions.

Communication and people skills are also very important aspects of the job. The Operations / Sales Manager MUST be self starting, competitive, imaginative, direct, influential, persuasive and self confident. Independence, mobility, activity, pace and authority are also factors which are important in this position. Providing an individual possesses the above characteristics and has the required education, experience and expertise and is effectively trained and managed, then they are likely to perform well in this position.

The successful candidate must be an energetic, enthusiastic, confident, sales-driven individual with specific and unique skills, to help launch our new Call Centre in the North East. If you pass assessment, you will have total responsibility for the success of this business including winning new corporate clients who want to leverage this unique business model.

This is a standalone role with direct access to the board, requiring you to be the front line leader. We have a niche in the utilities sector however we are also looking to capture new clients within Top 100 companies and the Public Sector.

Initial Qualifiers

  • You Must be able to demonstrate provable success in call centre management.
  • You Must have a robust knowledge of call centre technology.
  • You Must be able to demonstrate sales and tele sales skills at a structured interview.
  • You Must demonstrate ability to train other to sell.
  • You Must be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in an environment involves multiple campaigns streams without losing situational awareness.
  • You ARE excited about undergoing a highly structured, scored, assessment process which includes psychometric profiling.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Work with the Board to agree specific client sales targets, conversion ratios and training needs maintain performance on a sustainable basis.
  • 'Practice outstanding leadership and sales skills.
  • Creating and managing recruitment campaigns as and when required.
  • 'Managing existing client accounts as well as pulling new business from appropriate market sectors.
  • ?'Delivering bespoke marketing and sales campaigns.
  • 'Producing and interpreting advanced KPI strategies that deliver sustainable improvement.
  • 'Work with multiple streams of client activity.

Pay Plan:

  • Highly attractive basic salary which is negotiable according to experience.
  • Monthly uncapped commission PLUS quarterly bonuses PLUS performance related share options = a market sector leading On Target Earnings.
