The job: The client is an active man in his early 30’s who sustained a severe traumatic brain injury over 10 years ago.
Pay Rate: £8.25 per hour Monday to Friday. £9 per hour Saturday and Sunday. Sleep-ins are paid at £8.21 per hour.
What: Rehabilitation workers use a range of skills to encourage and support the client by providing physical and emotional support, assistance, organisation and transport. Team members work together with the client, his family and a number of professionals to contribute to the client maximising his independence and maintaining an excellent quality of life.
When: The rehabilitation team is generally organised in 21.5 hour shifts - 11.30-09.00 [week days, weekends including sleep-in nights] although some shorter shifts are provided during the week.
How: Following your training and shadowing an experienced member of our team, you will work independently with the client for shifts, sometimes this can be 2 back to back shifts. Approximately 3-4 shifts are available per month, with the possibility of more to cover holidays and sickness.
Where: The client currently lives in Shirehampton, Bristol.
