 Regional Manager – North East

About the role


As a Regional Manager you will formulate, drive and manage operational plans to profitably grow, develop and control your region. You will be responsible for developing your regional team, ensuring the region meets its statutory responsibilities and achieves Year- on-Year business growth.


The successful candidate must have proven experience in building a strong team, delivery of high sales growth, excellent operational standards and a strong customer service ethos in their current role. 


This is a superb development opportunity particularly for one of our high performing Area Managers to join the current Regional management team.




·         Establish a team of Area Managers who may be relied upon to oversee the day-to-day operation of the business

·         Establish and maintain an appropriate succession plan, ensuring the regional team is trained and developed to realise/exceed the business plan and meet future succession planning/business requirements

·         Cost effective management and utilisation of resources within the region

·         Identifies and progresses opportunities to improve operational processes within own region

·         Identify, create and support growth initiatives in-line with authorised growth and build future plans

·         Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to

·         Ensure all Areas promote the culture of working Compliantly whilst adhering to the Company Policies and Procedures

·         Contributes from an operational perspective in key working parties for new initiatives and process improvements

·         Develops and manages appropriate strategies through engagement and business relationships

·         Represent the company and network effectively with local competitors, Trade Associations and governing bodies

·         To embrace the culture of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’


Skills / Knowledge / Experience Required


·         Target driven-numerical analysis

·         Strong remote man-management skills set

·         Ability to manage change effectively (Business or I.T)

·         Proven people/leadership/development skills

·         Extensive industry experience at a senior level
