Purpose of the role:
To assist the client with activities which ensure the client is able to live as independently as possible.
About the Client:
Our client sustained a Brian haemorrhage in 1999 as a result of a aneurysm and requires 24 hour supervision daily as she has little awareness of her needs and vulnerability.
We are looking for people to support this client to live a full and active life in their family home and out in the community.
General Work Duties:
A full, valid driving licence is required and access to their own vehicle with the appropriate business insurance.
It is desirable for applicants to have previous experience in the care sector. This can be either paid or voluntary work and family care experience can be considered.
HomeCareDirect will ensure that you are fully trained to meet the needs of the person you are employed to support. This training will be provided prior to starting with the client and updated as necessary. Some training may require you to attend external training courses.
£7.84 per hour
Hours of work:
This is a bank position to cover staff annual leave and sickness to meet the needs of the client.
The general hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
