About the role
This is a varied and challenging role; as our business diversifies it presents a real opportunity for the IT Service Delivery Manager to get involved in service design and definition, whilst working collaboratively with our change delivery team.
As an IT Service Delivery Manager, you will manage a service portfolio of over 120 outsourced services within the team, being a key decision maker for proposed changes from proposal stage through to implementation and beyond, whilst ensuring an excellent service is delivered for c3000 users across the UK. You will provide problem management services, ensuring issues are pursued and customers are kept fully informed of their status, including attending service reviews to assist in providing excellent customer service. The role will also encompass IT Service Continuity management (disaster recovery planning), service level management and reporting, policy development and running of acceptance into service reviews and governance to ensure smooth implementation and transitions to BAU.
We’re looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager with strong, professional stakeholder management skills, who is able to deliver change from proposal stage through to BAU. You will have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills in order to influence, negotiate and communicate and build strong links with all business areas across a multi-site organisation. ITIL accreditation would be an advantage.
