Our recent successes are driving significant growth. As such, we are looking for a Client Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver Biopharmaceutical Process Development and Manufacturing projects on behalf of Oxford BioMedica and its clients. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project management including budget, resource, timeline, risk and issue management
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Act as primary point of contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain successful long term collaborations.
Communicate project information and priorities both within OXB and with key suppliers.
Facilitate meetings, both internally and with external clients
Liaise with clients and technical experts within OXB to agree project plans and deliverables
Monitor and drive project progress and where necessary make appropriate changes to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline and budget.
Ensure project risks are identified and effective mitigation actions are put in place and monitored..
Provide regular project updates to key stakeholders
Take responsibility for all financial aspects of projects including costing of new work packages, evaluation of costs and invoicing.
Participate in project steering committee meetings where appropriate
Assist with preparing proposals and contract negotiations for prospective clients
Key skills and requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project / Programme Management experience, gained within pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
Strong commitment to working in a customer-focused environment.
A collaborative working style with the ability to build excellent working relationships.
Good team building skills and a proven team worker
Ability to quickly assimilate and deal with complex problems and projects
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
Proficient in use of MS Project and MS Excel
The successful applicant will have the skills listed above, ideally backed up by a relevant Project Management qualification (e.g PMP / Prince 2 / APM). Experience of working in a customer facing role would also be an advantage.
