Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full time Product Steward to join us at our offices in Oxford. The purpose of the role is to maintain the technical oversight and knowledge of the clinical and commercial manufacturing processes performed either using in-house manufacturing sites or via our third-party CMOs.
Your key responsibilities as the recognised specialist for Product Stewardship will include: managing the continued process verification; having technical oversight for assigned product process performance and capability; ensuring end to end control of commercial product processes; and liaising with important areas across the business. You will also have line mangement responsibilities requiring; setting clear performance expectations, and providing coaching and support to ensure excellent delivery amongst a dedicated and motivated team.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally hold a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a life science / biotech / chemical engineering related discipline, with a strong track record and knowledge of bioprocess development, scale-up and GMP manufacturing.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have experience of problem solving tools and leading root cause investigations to CAPA. Outstanding candidates will have GMP commercial manufacturing experience, as well as aseptic processing and / or fill & finish, sound experience of data handling and applied statistics, with proven influencing skills across multiple projects. Your ability to adapt to a changing environment and work collaboratively will be critical.
