Plant Manager LEAN
Job Opportunity: Plant Manager – Manufacturing
We’re seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead a manufacturing operation in Kings Lynn. You must has experience using LEAN systems If you have a passion for processes, driving efficiency, and leading teams, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the entire plant manufacturing operation, ensuring cost-efficient and timely production.
- Identify and implement improvements using modern manufacturing techniques to boost productivity, quality, and output.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance quality, delivery, and build a positive team culture.
- Apply ITW principles such as Trade Focus, Market Rate Demand, and Product Line Simplification.
- Manage daily factory operations, maintain production plans, and ensure targets for productivity and quality are met.
- Monitor and improve cost efficiencies, stock levels, and manufacturing methods to reduce costs.
- Develop and implement quality and health and safety systems.
- Lead the development and training of production staff, managing overtime and recruitment as needed.
- Implement continuous improvements in production methods, equipment, and layouts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.
- Expertise in implementing LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other manufacturing systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with all levels within the company.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in volume and small batch production in a semi-automated and manual environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and proven commercial acumen.

Monday – Thursday 7am – 3:30pm - Friday 7am – 1pm
- 38 hours per week
