We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Chef to join a team in preparing delicious meals in a restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be able to assist in meal preparation while adhering to food safety standards. This is a temp to perm opportunity not to be missed!

The Role:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
• Assist in the development of new menu items.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations.
• Competency in line cooking with cheques.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of culinary technique and practices.
• Understanding of kitchen sanitation principles.
• Food and Hygiene Certification Level 2.

Salary and Hours

• 26.5 - 30 hours per week (variable shifts)
• £11.44 - £15 per hour, depending on experience.
