Siamo Recruitment is thrilled to offer an outstanding opportunity to join a flourishing business in the heart of Cirencester. As the UK branch of a prominent German machinery manufacturer, our client serves as a vital link between suppliers and end clients.

This role has become available due to the high demand from repeat customers across the UK and Ireland. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial part in maintaining excellent customer service, managing professional relationships, and delivering timely support. Engaging with 7-8 key customers and a select group of suppliers, you will build and sustain valuable relationships through consistent contact.

Core Responsibilities for the Sales Administrator:

  • Handle customer inquiries and collaborate with internal and external suppliers to generate quotations.
  • Use customer specifications to obtain quotes from suppliers and provide accurate pricing to customers.
  • Process purchase orders, sales confirmations, and issue invoices to customers.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to follow up on quotes and secure sales.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to offer support and updates, primarily through email.
  • Monitor existing orders and projects to ensure organized workflow.
  • Assist the UK-based Sales/Project Manager with additional tasks as required.

 

The Ideal Sales Administrator will have:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous exposure to an administration or support role.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional demeanour with excellent email communication skills.
  • Confidence in providing telephone support when needed.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking attitude.
  • A team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.
