Siamo Recruitment currently have an opening for an experienced Commercial and Office Manager to join our client in Bridgwater, TA6
Our client is evolving and looking for someone who not only wants to be part of that growth but also somebody who can assist with it and help in continuing to accelerate them forward. Our client is an Energy from Waste plant situated in Bridgwater and can recover energy form 110,000mT of refuse-derived fuel each year.
Permanent / Full-time (40 hours, 8am to 5pm)
Salary £40,000 - £45,000 (negotiable, depending on experience)
Acting under the direction of the Plant Manager, the successful applicant will:
- Setting up and maintaining commercial contracts for the whole site
- Supervise a small team, ensuring deliverables are met on time, identifying areas for development, and acting as point of escalation.
- Monitor the day-to-day PO & Invoice processes within the company, and other financial transactions.
- Assist the Management team with financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Financial analysis and cashflow forecasting
- The role also covers supporting and liaising with the finance team (based off site) to provide the required information and analyses, in a timely manner
Criteria
- A level 4 (or higher) qualification in Business Management/Finance/Economics/Commercialism or a similar relevant field.
- 3 years previous experience within a similar role, to include 1 year’s supervisory experience.
OR
- 5 years previous experience within a similar role, to include 1 year’s supervisory experience.
AND
- Experience in:
- Dealing and negotiating with suppliers, including contract and payment terms.
- Implementing and monitoring cashflow processes and controls.
- Financial reporting and budgeting, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in procurement software and other procurement management tools. (Shire systems is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
