Deputy and machine operator

·         £12.50 per hour

·         24 days holiday per year + bank holidays

·         37.5 hours per week – PM shift

·         Monday to Thursday 2-10:30 pm, Friday 2-8 pm

·         Paid overtime after 37.5 hours – weekly overtime 1.33 & weekend overtime 1.5

Machine Operative Job Details;

·         Daily maintenance of machinery and pre-use checks

·         Use of production software

·         Fibre Laser operation

·         FLT operation

·         Checking parts against drawings and segregating cut parts into correct packs

·         Read and follow drawings

·         Weekly machine clean downs

·         Deputy duties include; supporting the afternoon team leader with the distribution of work handling queries on packs and covering during the team leader's absence

Machine Operative Person Specification;

·         CNC experience is preferred

·         Strong attention to detail is essential

·         Ability to use basic computer functions

·         Ability to read technical drawings is preferable
