Monday – Thursday: 7:00am –3:45pm

Friday: 7:00am- 12:45am

Essential skills:

  • Experience in all aspects of Production machinery both Manual and CNC.
  • Experience and knowledge in working with Duplex and Nickel Alloy Materials.
  • Good numerical and literacy skills.
  • Able to do metric conversions from drawings.
  • Experience of machine parts inspections using gauges.
  • Ability to run multiple similar machines.

This CNC Machinist role will hold the below responsibilities:

  • Your role will be to ensure the production of high-quality products through operating the CNC machines.
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and priorities health and safety.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and inspection of their own work.
  • Cleaning and de- burring of the parts.
  • Set up machines using provided instructions and programmes provided by the production engineering department.
  • Record production hours correctly.
  • Run the machines in line with the speed and feeds called by the programs and monitor performance.
  • Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite DDS machinist during shift handover.

 

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of Fanuc controllers.
  • Ability to edit programmes when needed.
  • Ability to use CMM Inspections
  • Ability to run multiple similar machines.

 

Overtime rates:

Weekdays – 1.5 x basic hourly rate

Saturday – 1.5 x basic hourly rate

Sunday – 2 x basic hourly rate
