Role: Business Development Manager

Location: Birmingham - Hybrid (2 days per month office based)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE plus bonus (OTE £70,000 - £80,000) plus many benefits.

Hours: 09:00-17:30 Monday-Friday

Siamo Recruitment are currently working with a leading provider of Direct Mail who specialises in delivering innovative and tailored mailing solutions to meet their clients' diverse needs.  Due to expanding rapidly they are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their team.  You will be reporting directly to the Sales Director and be responsible for driving growth by identifying and securing new business.

Daily Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities 
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales within the specified sectors, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Thorough understanding of postal services, develop and implement a strategic sales plan in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients, focusing on key target sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and newly onboarded clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Drive customer acquisition through accurate quoting, lead conversion, and serving as a primary point of contact.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong ability to work independently.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as and when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
