Role: Sales Support

Hours of Work: 9am – 5pm

Location: Northampton

 

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To support the Branch and Branch Manager in maintaining current customer accounts as well as procuring new customers.

Ensuring that excellent customer service is always provided.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively making first contact with potential customers in accordance with targets agreed between you and the Branch Manager
  • Maintaining the customer database, ensuring it is kept updated.
  • Developing relationships with customers to encourage growth to your customer base and increasing the profit margin for your branch.
  • Using sales management system to input customer details and carry out sales tasks
  • Sales Reporting using company software.
  • Both searching for possible tenders and progressing with current tenders.
  • Working with the team to ensure that customer service is always maintained
  • Communicate with all members of staff at all levels
  • To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.
  • Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Report hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk.

REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL

  • Flexible approach to duties and tasks
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
  • Consistently manages the task in hand.

DESIRABLE

  • Full UK driving license
