Siamo Recruitment are working with a flourishing, innovative and triumphant client based in South Cerney, who offer the exciting opportunity for a Fleet Controller to join their growing business.

This Fleet Controller vacancy welcomes and individual with a proactive mindset, a natural flair in multitasking along with high attention to detail applied in every task.

You, the Fleet Controller, will be dedicated to supporting the operational performance of the department, coordinating with maintenance teams and drivers to ensure compliance across the board as well as managing the fleet administrator.

Ensuring organisation throughout the department will be a crucial aspect of your role, as you monitor and maintain vital data within the fleet internal system, along with orchestrating reports and maintaining the fleet non-conformance register.

This Fleet Controller role will have the below responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating with the Fleet Administrator ensuring compliance is audit ready and supporting the overall operational requirements within the business.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and drivers daily to ensure customer schedules are hit.
  • Coordinate and organise driver training
  • Ensure driver inductions, checks/rechecks, and Driver Annual Awareness Programmes are being undertaken
  • Maintain the Driver Matrix, ensuring driver changes are monitored and logged.
  • Record and update accidents, incidents and Fleet non-conformance register.
  • Manage and communicate to the business as required, legal and contractual requirements for the fleet
  • Manage Fleet software (Inseego, Fleetio, Allstar, etc.) and ensure associated records are maintained and up to date.
  • Process fines, PCNs, and dashcam data, keeping the Fleet Non-Conformance Register updated.
  • Follow internal processes and procedures accurately to comply with driving regulations.
  • Report all fleet changes to Finance Team as required.

The Ideal candidate for this Fleet Controller vacancy will have:

  • Experience within a previous fleet position being advantageous
  • Previous exposure to fleet software being beneficial
  • Strong communication skills working with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A natural flare for attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and keep worked organised.
  • Strong IT Skills i.e. Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
