Siamo Recruitment offer the opportunity to work with a leading brand known throughout the Accident Repair industry, based in Cirencester and offering the opportunity for a Vehicle Paint Technician to join and thrive within their business.

Working as part of a qualified team, you will undertake paint preparation duties and expertly mix paints to match vehicle specifications using advanced technology.

The model Vehicle Paint Technician will master a defined process to restore the vehicle to a high-quality paint finish, including being able to demonstrate colour identification and select the correct materials such as primers, base coats and lacquers therefore restoring the vehicle to a high-quality paint finish.

This vehicle paint and prep technician vacancy will have the following responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of Automotive refinishing materials such as application techniques to deliver quality results.
  • ·Body Paint Repair tools, equipment and devices used in the process e.g. mixing systems, Spay guns etc.
  • Calculation and estimation of paint volume
  • Masking preparation
  • Colour matching using specific technology such as Spectrometer
  • Painting vehicle panels and components

The vehicle paint and prep technician ideal for this vacancy with have the below:

  • Experience within a Paint technician role being essential.
  • Ability to utilise attention to detail
  • Confident in working independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding and knowledge of painting techniques and application
  • Ability to manage a clean and tidy workspace.
